Dropshipping has been a popular business model for many entrepreneurs due to its apparent ease and low overhead costs. However, it is not without its challenges and can be difficult to manage for several reasons.

One of the main difficulties with dropshipping is the lack of control over the fulfillment process. As a dropshipper, you are reliant on your suppliers to fulfill orders in a timely and accurate manner. This can lead to issues such as delayed shipments, backorders, and incorrect or damaged products being sent to customers. These issues can result in negative reviews and a damaged reputation for your business.

Another challenge with dropshipping is the potential for overselling. It can be tempting to list a wide range of products on your website to attract customers, but without accurate inventory management, you may end up overselling products that are out of stock. This can lead to cancelled orders, unhappy customers, and lost sales.

In contrast, affiliate marketing offers a simpler and more manageable approach to e-commerce. With affiliate marketing, you promote other people’s products and earn a commission on any sales that result from your promotion.
